WAUCHOPE Hockey Club’s B Grade Winunga’s game was against Tacking Point Cruisers.

Winunga had the majority of play and territory in the first half with crisp passing and possession resulting in a goal by Eva Nolan. Cruisers came back hard after half time but Winunga were able to repel the attack and press forward again even earning a stroke.

However the score remained at 1-0 to Wauchope at full time.

Women’s B Grade Wapiti played Port City on Saturday afternoon.

Wapiti had a glut of short corners in the first half with a goal finally coming from general play put away by Natasha Costigan. There were no scores in the second half with Wapiti winning 1-0.

A Grade Warriors finished at 2-2 against Port City on Saturday afternoon.
